Otep released their seventh studio record and Napalm Records debut, Generation Doom, on April 15th. Generation Doom breaks into the Billboard charts this week. The album debuts at #10 on the Independent Chart, #7 on the Rock Chart and #109 on the Top 200 Albums Chart, with 6,185 units sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

The latest single from the album, ”In Cold Blood”, has been receiving radio play across the country and the band recently unveiled the epic video for the song.

The video was directed Paul R. Brown who has worked with the likes of My Chemical Romance, Three Days Grace, Audioslave, Slipknot, Sevendust, Bullet For My Valentine, Avenged Sevenfold and Static-X to name a few. Watch the video below:

In support of their new album, Otep are out on the Generation Doom tour. The trek features support from Lacey Sturm (ex-Flyleaf), September Mourning, Through Fire and Doll Skin, and will run through May 28th in Los Angeles, CA. A complete list of dates can be found below.
