Metal Wani's Fernando Bonenfant recently caught up with Overkill frontman Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth at O2 Islington in London, England. Bobby discusses the special show in Oberhausen, Germany where the band played Feel The Fire and Horrorscope' in their entirety for the first time.

He also talks about the songwriting process on these two albums, longevity of the band and why it isn't difficult to write good songs even after three decades. Bobby sheds light on their upcoming studio album (11 songs written), entering studio in May to record drums, the songwriting process, musical direction and why the new music sounds like the previous three albums.

Bobby also talks about various techniques he uses while recording vocals, whether he wants to re-record any of the previous Overkill albums, upcoming touring plans and much more.

BraveWords was on the scene in Oberhausen, Germany, where Overkill recorded a live Blu-Ray/DVD, commemorating 30 years since the debut and the 25th anniversary of Horrorscope. However, Pissing Razors drummer Eddy Garcia was drafted into the current live tour, and will appear on said recording. On the previous Friday, the band ran through almost 10 hours of rehearsals.
