It was exactly a year ago that Sharon Osbourne threw Ozzy out of their home after discovering he had been having a four-year affair with his hair stylist, Michelle Pugh, reports The Telegraph. Although the pair have since reconciled, and renewed their vows back in May, Osbourne had been dealing privately with her husband’s transgressions for six years.

“Because there wasn’t just the one woman. There were six of them: some f---ing Russian teenager,” she spits out, “then a masseuse in England, our masseuse out here, and then our cook...”. She bats away a query about the identity of the sixth, saying: “He had women in different countries. Basically if you’re a woman giving Ozzy either a back rub or a trolley of food, God help you.”

Osbourne first found out that Ozzy was cheating on her in the banal, humiliating way that people so often do: through technology. “We were sitting watching telly,” she says, “Ozzy on one couch and me on the other, and suddenly he sends me this email. ‘Why did you send me this stupid email?’ I asked, and when Ozzy told me that he hadn’t sent me anything, I grabbed his phone and said ‘look!’ And of course it was a message meant for one of his bloody women.”

It transpired that the singer - who has abused alcohol and drugs for most of his adult life - had fallen off the wagon “and not only was there the Russian but he was buying Ferraris! Three of them! And Ozzy can’t drive! So he was just taking them out and crashing them. And that was when all this started. So when I found out about the hairdresser, I just couldn’t believe it. Because none of these women were show ponies; he was doing it to fill the void in some way. And I just felt like the life I’d been leading wasn’t my life at all.”
