Ozzy Osbourne was in Williamsburg last week with his son, Jack, visiting the colonial area’s new musket range and touring Historic Jamestowne, reports Richmond.com.

While Colonial Williamsburg has been mum on the reason for the pair’s visit, which ran from Thursday to Sunday, it’s possible they were there to film segments for a new TV show.

“We were indeed thrilled to have Ozzy and Jack Osbourne visit the Revolutionary City on Friday,” said Colonial Williamsburg spokesman Joe Straw. “Their visit underscores Colonial Williamsburg’s undiminished relevance and the broad appeal of our new and more engaging programming.”

A message at the Colonial Williamsburg Facebook page states: “We can finally announce our special visitors we hosted over the weekend... Ozzy Osbourne & Jack Osbourne! They tried out our new educational musket range (Ozzy was right on target with his shots), and toured the trade shops along DoG Street. Rumor has it they had a particularly good time in the Wig Shop. Stay tuned for more on why they were here and when you'll be able to see their adventures for yourself!”
