PRONG Frontman TOMMY VICTOR - "I Think Larger Artists Are Generally Greedy In A Lot Of Ways"
August 8, 2016, 8 years ago
In the clip below, Prong frontman Tommy Victor elaborates on the benefits of contemporary technological advancements in the music industry, how the legacy of Prong can attract old and new fans to concerts, and on why he chose a rather frugal lifestyle.
Tommy: "I think larger artists are generally greedy in a lot of ways. When it gets to a point where you're financially secure for the rest of your life, I don't see why these guys are really worried about it (streaming) too much. I think people's heads get really big. I have no problem with streaming. I'm not really doing this to make a whole lot of money - that's not really my source of energy with the whole thing. I enjoy what I do, and I keep it simple with the motivation. If people wanna be greedy, let them be greedy, and that doesn't really apply to my life too much."
