QUEENSRŸCHE Vocalist TODD LA TORRE Condition Human - "The Album Just Crushes; It Sounds Huge And Full And Thick And Dynamic"

Metalholic and Metal Nation Radio caught up with vocalist Todd La Torre to talk about Queensrÿche 's new album, Condition Human, due out October 2. He also discusses the double-edged sword of sounding similar to former Queensrÿche vocalist Geoff Tate. Check out the interview below:

On July 31st the rejuvenated Queensrÿche performed at the Wacken Open Air in Wacken, Germany. The band's complete show, filmed by the Arte network, can be viewed below.

The setlist was as follows:

"Anarchy-X"
"Nightrider"
"Breaking The Silence"
"The Whisper"
"En Force"
"The Warning"
"The Needle Lies"
"NM 156"
"Arrow Of Time"
"Eyes of a Stranger"
"Queen of the Reich"
"Take Hold of the Flame"

Against the formidable obstacles of an ever-changing cultural landscape, the rise and fall of various musical trends, and the near collapse of the record industry itself, Queensrÿche secured a triumphant legacy as one of hard rock’s most respected and celebrated acts, selling 30 million albums around the world across a 30-plus-year career.

The much-anticipated new offering, Condition Hüman, sees vocalist Todd LaTorre deliver the performance of a lifetime on what is now his sophomore recording effort with the band. Produced by Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Hatebreed, Sanctuary) in the band’s native Washington, Condition Hüman is a new mountain towering over many of the peaks and valleys of the hard rock landscape. Look for the album via Century Media Records on October 2nd.

Queensrÿche are streaming their new song "Arrow Of Time", taken from their forthcoming album which was recently completed. Go to the band's PledgeMusic campaign here for details.
