QUEENSRŸCHE Vocalist TODD LA TORRE On Performing Live - "We Try To Please The Crowds And Ourselves The Best We Can"

Queensrÿche frontman Todd La Torre has posted the following message on Facebook:

"Thinking out loud here: We are currently covering 8 albums in our full set. We try to please the crowds and ourselves the best we can, and by far the majority love our set. Some only know the classics, while others crave more new stuff. Regardless of what we play, we are artists that always write new music even if some new stuff never gets in the live set.

I recently read a rather ignorant comment about why even bother to write and record new music if we don't play it live... (facepalm)

Obviously that perspective is from someone that isn't creative or an artist. How many painters, writers, sculptors, etc. put down their tools because the world may not see or hear their work? It doesn't work that way. It's in the artist's blood to create FIRST. It's like telling a runner to stop running if they are not going to enter a race. Queensrÿche is always writing and feeding the machine. Thanks for all your amazing support, and to all the creative spirits out there, feed your passion and keep doing what you do!"
