Rare Northwest Metalfest Footage Surfaces Featuring METAL CHURCH, Late Bassist Mike Starr's SATO, And More

Classic, exclusive video has recently been unearthed of 10 of the bands who first put Seattle on the metal map.
Northwest Metalfest was a studio compilation album as well as a live showcase, with the bands vying for a record deal. Featured in the video is a pre-label METAL CHURCH; this was the gig that got them signed. Also appearing in the band SATO is the late bassist Mike Starr from ALICE IN CHAINS.
The Northwest Metalfest video was filmed at the Moore Theater, Seattle, on May 12th, 1984. Check out a few videos below. More can be found at this location.
