RATT - Bassist SCOTT GRIFFIN To Be Replaced By ROBBIE CRANE
February 28, 2016, 8 years ago
"Just got off the phone with Bobby Blotzer. We decided that after the Canada and Ohio shows, it's just not in the best interest of either of us to continue working together in Ratt," says bassist Scott Griffin. "As of April 1st, Robbie Crane will be the new bass player for Ratt. I wish Bobby, Josh, Doc, Blaze and Robbie the best of luck."
This is not surprising as the aforementioned Josh and Doc - vocalist Joshua Alan and guitarist Doc Ellis - up until recently, played alongside Griffin in Sin City Sinners. After the pair departed SCS, the group was renamed Sin City Sinners All Stars and continues to forge ahead with friends old and new sitting in until a new, permanent lineup is announced.
Robbie Crane previously played bass for Ratt fron 1996 to 2012, appearing on the self-titled album from 1999, as well as Infestation from 2010.
