RATT'S JUAN CROUCIER - Fan-Filmed Live Video From Toronto Show Posted

Juan Croucier (Ratt), Pete Holmes (Black N’ Blue), Mike Moore and Toni Aleman recently formed a new group and are now out performing as Ratt’s Juan Croucier. The band performs songs from the Ratt catalogue exclusively and played the Rockpile in Toronto, Ontario on September 26th. Check out the fan-filmed video below:

Ratt's Juan Croucier played their first show ever on September 24th at the Token Lounge in Westland, Michigan. Check out the fan-filmed video below featuring "Nobody Rides For Free"  - the last song Ratt's original line-up recorded together - and the classic "Back For More".

Having solidified the core of the band (lead vocals, bass and drums), Juan and Pete set out to find the right guitar players for the group. After extensive auditions resulting from hundreds of submissions, they found two very talented guitar players in Mike Moore and Toni Aleman. Sharing the same passion, commitment and vision, they have been diligently rehearsing a set of over eighteen songs.

“We have left no stone unturned. We’ve been working long and hard. It’s all about the live show. We take this very seriously. Mike and Toni are simply killing it!  There is a unique chemistry between the members of this band that is often so illusive.  Our attention to detail has culminated in a fresh, energetic and modern twist on Ratt’s classic catalog of songs.  I believe that anyone who loves Ratt will really enjoy this band too.  I can’t wait to get out there and bring it to the people, after all they are the ultimate judges of our art,” says Croucier.

The band is currently booking additional shows. For updates and tour dates visit Rattsjuancroucier.com.

Meanwhile, Ratt drummer Bobby Blotzer's new band, dubbed Bobby Blotzer's Ratt Exeprience, made its live debut back in June in Las Vegas, NV at Vamp'd Rock Bar & Grill. The line-up - featuring Blotzer, Scotty Griffin (bass/ex-L.A. Guns), Josh Alan (vocals/Sin City Sinners), Doc Ellis (guitars/Sin City Sinners) and Blaze (guitars) - ran through a set of Ratt classics. Blotzer recently hit Facebook officially announcing the Re-Invasion Tour 2016, which will be under the Ratt name.

Report indicate that Ratt guitarist Warren DeMartini, who owns the other 50% of the band name, is currently in the process of taking legal action against Blotzer to prevent him from touring under the Ratt moniker. In a new interview with Eddie Trunk, Blotzer defended his decision, saying that, as half-owner of the name, he can do what he wants with it, with or without the guitarist’s permission, and that DeMartini could possibly be violating of California corporate law.

“Me and Warren own 50/50 of the name. He does not wanna tour. The other guys aren’t gonna tour, so it leaves me sitting here — the one guy who never quit, out of the whole band, and who’s always been pushing the other guys to get back together. But my 50/50 partner doesn’t wanna tour as a member, and he becomes a non-touring member, and that leaves me open to go out and bring the songs that people wanna hear on the road.”

For Blotzer, it’s not just about wanting to get out and play again, but about what’s required under the law. “Mind you, five years we’ve been off,” he continued. “You can’t do that legally. It’s against corporate law in California. I don’t know what everybody does outside this state, but you cannot be an officer and a shareholder and not work your company. It’s called breach of fiduciary duty. That I know. And I’m surprised he’s not knowing that.”
