RHAPSODY Announce Second Leg Of Latin America 20th Anniversary Farewell Tour
August 18, 2017, 7 years ago
After a successful tour in Latin America, Rhapsody will return to countries they were unable to play on the first leg, and to cities with sold out shows where the people were unable to see the band for the very last time.
The first show will take place on January 7th in São Paulo, at Tom Brasil. More information about tickets will be announced shortly. Following, the band will perform in Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, Chile, Colombia and Mexico.
Currently, Rhapsody is comprised of: Fabio Lione (vocals), Luca Turilli (guitars), Dominique Leurquin (guitars), Patrice Guers (bass) and Alex Holzwarth (drums).
"After so many requests from our fans, who met us at all shows, our managers found a gap to plan this second tour throughout Latin America. We will present some epic shows that you can not miss for any reason and, once more, a few songs never played before. On top we will play all our greatest hits," says Fabio Lione.
Rhapsody performed recently at European festivals including: Graspop (Belgium), Sweden Rock and Leyendas del Rock (Spain), presenting a setlist full of classics such as "Emerald Sword", "Land Of Immortals", "Dawn Of Victory", "Lamento Eroico", "Holy Thunderforce" and many more.
Rhapsody's influences include the most epic orchestral soundtracks, classical composers such as Vivaldi, Bach, Beethoven, Paganini, renaissance and folk music. These elements made Rhapsody a unique band in the metal world and, thanks to its magic, brought together many fans around the world and inspired many other bands.
