RIOT V's Mike Flyntz Talks New Album, Late Founding Member Mark Reale, Genesis Of Band In 1975 And More In New Audio Interview

When Riot came bursting out of New York City in 1975 did anyone really doubt for a minute that the uber talented band led by late founding member Mark Reale would ignite the heavy metal community such as Riot has? Albums such as the unsurpassed Fire Down Under, Narita, Rock City, Born In America, Restless Breed and their latest Unleash The Fire are all call to arms that this band, despite several tragedies such as the untimely passing of singers Guy Speranza, Rhett Forrester and now guitarist Mark Reale, could indeed carry and forge on for their loyal worldwide legions of fans. WVOX Metal Mayhem host Matthew O'Shaughnessy recently had guitarist Mike Flyntz on his New York-based show where Flyntz spoke about Riot's latest album, the bands new monicker of Riot V, the rich legacy of Mark Reale and why the band never buckled to trends or fashions and always did metal on their own terms. For four decades now Riot has earned their niche in the heavy metal fraternity and in many people's opinion has always unleashed a incredible and fierce brand of heavy metal that has garnered them an international name. The Restless Breed returns!
