RIVAL SONS Talk Opening For BLACK SABBATH – “It’s Appropriate For Their Final Tour To Have A Band That Plays Rock ‘N’ Roll Out With Them Rather Than Someone Doing A Very Aggressive Metal Sound”

KaaosTV has uploaded a new interview with Rival Sons guitarist Scott Holiday before the band’s opening slot for Black Sabbath at Kaisaniemen Puisto in Helsinki, Finland on July 7th.

Holiday talks about first discovering Black Sabbath and how is an honor for the band to be opening up for them. Holiday also says it makes sense for a rock ‘n’ roll band like Rival Sons to be out with them on their last tour because the foundations of Black Sabbath were blues and rock ‘n’ roll and not a metal band because “they have less to do with what they are.”

Rival Sons released their fifth album, Hollow Bones, on June 10th via Earache Records.

The new album features nine brand new tracks of electrifying rock 'n' soul, including a breathtaking cover of "Black Coffee". With a huge range of Hollow Bones products available, including limited edition gold, silver and transparent vinyl, plus ultra-limited signed CD and vinyl editions, there's something for everyone from the casual fan to the die-hard collector.
