RODRIGO Y GABRIELA Perform Live Acoustic Version Of MEGADETH's "Holy Wars"; ROBERT TRUJILLO And MARTY FRIEDMAN Make Guest Appearances During Los Angeles Show (Video)

On August 14th, Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo and former Megadeth guitarist Marty Friedman joined Rodrigo y Gabriela on stage at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA. Trujillo, who is no stranger to performing with the duo, took part in a Metallica medley of  "Orion", "For Whom The Bell Tolls" and "Battery". Friedman took to the stage to perform "Oblivion" originally composed by Astor Piazolla.

In addition, Trujillo challenged  Rodrigo y Gabriela to perform "a real metal song", Megadeth's "Holy Wars". Check out the clips below.

Trujillo recently attended the BottleRock Festival in Napa, CA. Not only did Trujillo jam on stage with his 11 year-old son Tye's band, The Helmets, he performed with Rodrigo y Gabriela and jammed on some Metallica tunes fans might recognize. Check out the footage below.

Trujillo previously jammed the same medley with Rodrigo y Gabriela in 2014.
