Rotting Christ is touring in support of their latest record, Kata Ton Daimona Eaytoy. The video for the song "666" can be seen below:
Kata Ton Daimona Eaytoy means Do What Thou Wilt and links Rotting Christ to their heritage as pioneers of black metal. From underground heroes to international headliner status, the Greek band brings together elements from death, heavy and gothic metal with a rich native heritage element without ever betraying their black roots. Kata Ton Daimona Eaytoy takes this progression even further as Rotting Christ forges their own sound, and augment it with female vocals, and a wide array of instrumentation. Inspired by ancient cultures around the globe, Kata Ton Daimona Eaytoy sees Rotting Christ employ poetry from the Sumerians and Incas as well as a Romanian folk song, the tale of an undead Russian water spirit, Voodoo, Zoroastrianism and other sources.
