RYDER To Release New EP In January; Pre-Order Launched
December 8, 2016, 7 years ago
From the ashes of the old rises the spirit of the new, Ryder, a 4-piece hard rock/metal band based out of Queens, NY.
June 26th, 2016 was the day that it all started for Ryder. If you enjoy the sounds of Twisted Sister, Dokken or Black Sabbath Ryder might just be what you're looking for. It took no time at all for them to be asked to perform at the world-renowned Whisky A Go Go and the Chance Theater. They have been asked to open for Ted Poley, Ross The Boss, Dope, Motorgrator, One Eyed Doll, Wednesday 13, LA Guns, Faster Pussycat, Tracii Guns, Flotsam And Jetsam and Joe Lynn Turner, just to name a few.
Ryder delivers a powerful style of music that is still appreciated by the masses and can really get the crowd going. The group consists of James Ryder (vocals/guitar), Andrew Bloch (guitar), Dennis Torrent (bass guitar), and Matt Hass (drums). Together they deliver a pulse pounding, adrenaline-fuelled performance that will leave you wanting more.
Ryder has announced the release of their IV EP on January 1st. The EP was engineered and produced by Anthony Esposito (founding member of Lynch Mob, former Ace Frehley bassist, and current bassist for Jake E. Lee’s Red Dragon Cartel). The EP features four songs drawing influence from the likes of Thin Lizzy, Guns N’ Roses, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin, but still producing their own sound.
