SAIGON KICK Guitarist JASON BIELER In Praise Of His Monsters Of Rock Cruise Shipmates - "Being A Great Musician Never Goes Out Of Style" (Video)

Saigon Kick were one of several bands who performed on board the recent Monsters Of Rock cruise, a four-day, four-night voyage out of Miami from February 22nd - 26th aboard the NCL Pearl. Guitarist Jason Bieler has posted the following recap:

"Having been in this business we call 'show' professionally since I was 17-ish, I have seen trends and styles come and go. Hair metal, grunge, new wave, nu metal, pop punk, etc. One of the big take-away from the Monsters Of Rock Cruise was just how great some of these musicians are. I didn’t get to catch everyone unfortunately as I was monitoring the pastry section for updates, but Extreme, Steve Vai, Tesla, Soto, Vinnie Moore, Y&T and yes, Winger, can still run circles around most bands like the Jaromir Jagr's of rock; older but somehow getting better. So kids, remember this 20 years from now: the clothes and hairstyles you have today will probably look very funny, but being a great musician never goes out of style.

Plus, Kip told me I looked like Brad Pitt so I think his vision is still 20/20 not bad for an old guy."
