Sammy Hagar’s Rock & Roll Road Trip continued on February 14th with episode 4 featuring Sammy’s own band, The Circle. Check out the clip below featuring the band discussing the evolution of their music as they tour together and what makes them excited to play.
Sammy Hagar takes viewers on an intimate and unforgettable journey celebrating all things rock n’ roll with: Tommy Lee (Mötley Crüe), Bob Weir and Mickey Hart (Grateful Dead), Alice Cooper, Jerry Cantrell (Alice In Chains), Nancy Wilson (Heart), The Circle, and more. The show premiered Sunday, January 24th at 9|8c only on AXS TV.
Speaking with Daily Bulletin, Hagar was asked what he would do if Van Halen called him to come back.
Says Hagar: “My favourite thing to say without biting my own tongue is no comment. Every time I turned around, it was a no-win situation. If I say what I feel .. I would always get 50 percent of the Van Halen fans saying, ‘Right on, you rule.’ Then the haters would dog me like, ‘You’re always dogging Van Halen.’ I’m going to shut up. They get their wish. We’ll see what happens when it happens — if it happens.”
