SARKOM Streaming “Mind-Abscess” Featuring SHINING’s Peter Huss
November 3, 2016, 8 years ago
With the release of Anti Cosmic Art, the fourth full-length album from Norwegian black metallers Sarkom, a month away, Dark Essence Records have debuted a track from the album.
Titled "Mind-Abscess", one of the track's features is a striking guitar interlude performed by three separate guitarists. The first guitar part is performed by Thrawn, the second by Shining’s Peter Huss, and the third by Galaaen.
As well as Peter Huss, the seven-track album also features guest appearances from Alfahanne's Pehr Skjoldhammer, and guitar virtuosos Ronni Le Tekrø (TNT, Roquefire) and former Sarkom member Sagstad (Trollfest).

"Mind-Abscess":
Founder and frontman Unsgaard (So Much For Nothing), Sgt V (ex-Svarttjern) on bass, Thrawn (ex-Dødheimsgard) on guitar and Defest (Svarthaueg) on drums, have made full use of the unique, crushingly dark sound that is Sarkom’s trademark, and have come up with an album that ranges from icy, old school black metal, to more experimental tracks. Brutally catchy, guitar-driven, and featuring blast beats from hell, Anti-Cosmic Art demonstrates perfectly that Sarkom have no problems stepping out of their comfort zone, or of appealing to a wider audience.
To mark the release of Anti-Cosmic Art, Sarkom will play the following two Norwegian dates:
December
3 - Good Omens - Trondheim, Norway
17 - Revolver - Oslo, Norway
