SAXON's Biff Byford To Guest On WVOX's Metal Mayhem This Tuesday

NWOBHM legends SAXON's Biff Byford will join WVOX.com's Metal Mayhem host Matthew O'Shaughnessy live this Tuesday, September 10th at 9:20pm Eastern on WVOX.com Worldwide and 1460 AM. The iconic Saxon frontman/vocalist will talk with O'Shaughnessy about the bands 'Sacrifice And Sin' North American Tour including New York area dates on Thursday, September 12th in Patchogue, NY at The Emporium and then Friday night September 13th live at BB Kings in New York City.
Fans can expect to hear Biff Byford talk more on the band's latest release, Sacrifice. "I wanted this album to be an intense listening experience. I think you have to keep one foot in the past and one in the present. Some songs on Sacrifice are quite modern sounding like 'Guardians Of The Tomb' but we still have sight of where we came from and keep in touch with our roots. I would say this new album is heavier and thrashier than before," commented Byford recently.
Metal Mayhem pounds out the rock every Tuesday from 9-11pm and Friday between 6-10pm and can be viewed from anywhere in the world on live webcam from the main studio at WVOX.com.
