May 22, 2015, 9 years ago
Austin rockers Scorpion Child have stepped into the studio to work on their sophomore album. The band have once again joined forces with Chris 'Frenchie' Smith (The Answer, And You Will Know Us By The Tail Of Dead…), who also produced and arranged the band’s self-titled, full-length debut.
Scorpion Child vocalist Aryn Jonathan Black states: "The band is now locked in the studio committing everything to album #2. Everyone is dressed to the 9's and it’s business time!"
Praised for their "proper rock-and-roll riffage" and "unapologetic classic rock" by Clutch vocalist Neil Fallon, the band have also been commended by radio & television personality Eddie Trunk for their "old-school-spirit, kick-ass hard rock, killer riffs and vocals". Scorpion Child’s music has been played on Eddie Trunk’s live show on SiriusXM satellite radio as well as on Nights With Alice Cooper.
