SIMULACRUM Release Video “Sky Divided”

Turku, Finland-based progressive metal act, Simulacrum, will release their new concept album, Sky Divided, through Inverse Records on August 28. A new video for the title track can be found below.

.The video follows the bunker survival battle of a soldier unit in the dismal post-apocalyptic world of the near future. The song reflects Simulacrum's present sound, which is heavy and progressive without forgetting excellent melodies. Both videos are produced by Dark Noise Productions and directed by Esa Jussila.

An album seeking out the boundaries of the melodic and progressive universe, with new and refreshing ideas to the genre. Huge choruses and heavy riffing, underlined by big-laden atmospheric keys, finally topped with a strong and powerful voice.

The artwork is created by Jan Yrlund, who has worked with artists such as Manowar, Stratovarius and Sirenia, and the cover portrays the post-apocalyptic mood of the album's title track.

“Timelapse”
“Behind The Belt Of Orion”
“Broken”
“Embrace The Animal Within”
