SIXX:A.M. Guitarist DJ ASHBA To Perform National Anthem At 2015 Monster Energy Cup

Sixx: A.M. guitarist and Monster Energy artist DJ Ashba will be performing the national anthem at The 2015 Monster Energy Cup on October 17.
“It’s a great honor to be asked to perform the National Anthem at Monster Energy Cup in Las Vegas”. Ashba is regarded as one of today's top guitarists and songwriters, noted by his mastery in Sixx: A.M. which he formed in 2007 with James Michael and Motley Crue’s Nikki Sixx. The band is currently working on two albums worth of material that will be sonically and thematically linked together. With both albums slated for a 2016 release, Sixx: A.M. will follow up with a world tour shortly after.
The 2015 Monster Energy Cup features an all-new track design inspired by 5-time Monster Energy Supercross Champion Ricky Carmichael. The Carmichael-inspired track design will consist of supercross and motocross obstacles unlike any other racetrack design in the world. The 2015 Monster Energy Cup posts a $250,000 purse – with the winner walking away with a $100,000 check, and any rider that wins all three Main Events will take home $1 million – is one of the most anticipated events in extreme sports and showcases a talented group of riders all vying for championship spots including numerous athletes from Monster Energy’s own dominating stable of supercross riders. The event will air live on FOX Sports 2 from Las Vegas on Saturday, October 17 at 9:30PM – 1AM (PST).
