Slovenia’s DEKADENT Announce Veritas Film Screening, Special Performance, Meet & Greet

Slovenia’s atmospheric black metal quartet, Dekadent, will premiere Veritas and its seminal film at Kinoteka Theatre, Ljubljana.

“It is a great pleasure to announce the grand opening of Dekadent's Vertias era at Kinoteka, which is the home of Slovenian independent film culture. It will be a special night for all those who appreciate unorthodox underground culture, metal music, good film, wine and Dekadent in general.

The evening agenda will include the film screening, a special performance and meet & greet with the band.

The event will take place in the Silvan Furlan Hall at 8 PM. There will be no entrance fee, while the seats are limited to 124. All tickets will be available on the day of the event, while we encourage fans from abroad to contact the band directly for reservations at info@dekadent.si.”

Dekadent released their new album, Veritas, on February 23rd via PledgeMusic. Their fourth opus, which continues the musical path of their 2011 album, Venera: Trial & Tribulation, is available on CD and digital formats. In keeping with the band’s creative audio-visual approach, it also includes a professionally produced short film of the same title written and directed by Artur Felicijan, Dekadent founder and mastermind.

The frontman comments: “The songs are technically more challenging than anything we have done so far, while they still embody that typical Dekadent atmosphere. There are some new hints of progressive and death metal, but overall I believe we are offering a very glorious ‘white metal’ album we have always been known to deliver.”

Veritas was recorded with an emerging artist and producer Wulf (Neuotech). The film was created and produced by Artur Felicijan and Andraž Sedmak and is already garnering success at independent film festivals.
