SOCIETY 1 Set To Release No Salvation Comic Book; Now Available For Pre-Order

Society 1 will be releasing a comic entitled No Salvation on Wednesday, July 1st that is based on actual band members Matt Zane (vocals), DV Karloff (bass), Iorden Mitev (drums) and Alex Crescioni (guitar). Although members are depicted visually within expected circumstances such as a Society 1 concert the events take a drastic turn very early in the story.

Synopsis: After a show the characters find themselves descending into a new world brought about by some unexplained chemical leak that unexpectedly envelops Los Angeles CA one evening. This new world is eerily familiar due to all imagery and action of the characters seemingly unfolding within the context of an obscure poem that Zane heard during his childhood. To make matters worse the prevalent chemical seems to affect the majority of the population by turning them into aggressive violent creatures, yet a small few are left with their human characteristics intact although they suffer from intense hallucinations that can occur at any moment.

All 32 pages of the artwork within No Salvation was created by renowned German artist Dominic Valecillo while the script was written by Ray Van Horn Jr. The overall concept of the story was conceptualized by Matt Zane.

“I can’t believe this vision was able to be realized. If it wasn’t for artist Dominic Valecillo none of this would have been possible. He did an amazing job making the ideas and story come together. His artwork really pulls you into to the world I’m trying to portray.” explained Zane

Pre-orders and a sneak peak of No Salvation can viewed here.

Society 1 recently released a new music video, for the track “Pain And Torture”, featured on their latest album, A Collection Of Lies.

The video, directed by vocalist Matt Zane, depicts a woman partaking in questionable acts with an over-sized stuffed bear. The clip also features band members (DV Karloff, Iorden Mitev and Alex Crescioni) performing while the action unfolds to a gruesome end.

"We just wanted to do something absurd and different. Something that may confuse people just for moment and make them watch it a few times. Maybe tell a friend and have some philosophical discussion about the possible meaning of it all." said Zane
