Wax Maniax was founded in November 2015 by New York music industry veterans and resident headbangers with a commitment to reissuing cult-classic metal albums that are long overdue for a reappearance on vinyl. The label kicked off that same month with the release of a deluxe double LP reissue for the 1986 thrash metal classic Eternal Nightmare by bay-area legends Vio-lence. The double LP reissue was fully remastered and packaged in a gatefold jacket filled with rare era photos and also included the band’s pre-album demo plus the previously-unreleased ninth track from the original album session, making the album whole for the first time ever.
