RockRevolt Magazine's Alice Roques recently caught up with Soulfly / Cavalera Conspiracy frontman Max Cavalera prior to Cavalera Conspiracy's recent show in Columbus, OH.
Soulfly will embark on a monumental North American headlining tour starting September 30th in Los Angeles, CA. The band will be supporting their upcoming vicious new release, Archangel, which was produced by Matt Hyde and which will be released on August 14th via Nuclear Blast Entertainment.
Joining them on this epic campaign are Swedish melodic-death metal visionaries Soilwork, Polish technical death metallers Decapitated, and hot newcomers Shattered Sun.

Ever since the band's gold-certified debut in 1998, Soulfly have become deadlier and more dangerous with each critically acclaimed successive release and their latest album, Savages, is no exception. Savages was produced by the world-renowned Terry Date, and is the first to feature Max Cavalera's 21-year-old son Zyon on drums. The artwork was created by artist Paul Stottler, who is best known for Sacred Reich’s legendary Surf Nicaragua cover. Guest vocal appearances on Savages include bass player Tony Campos, Max Cavalera's other son Igor Cavalera, Clutch’s Neil Fallon, Napalm Death’s Mitch Harris and Jamie Hanks of I Declare War.
