St. Louis’ XAEMORA Release Debut Album

Kingdom Venom I, the first full length by American symphonic black metal band Xaemora is now available through London-based Merdumgiriz Records.

A press release states: “Six songs of symphonic assault divide the 25 minute beast. The mellow keyboards tell the moaning of the mountains of rocky guitars and blasting drums. The screaming lungs of vocals bridge the narrative between that mellowness and the destructivity of the instruments. The totally symphonic black metal melodies together with guitar solos and leads that bleed madness create castles while staying raw and intense to create something altogether perverse, strong and original. With an unrelenting intensity both in atmosphere, performance, composition and production this album is one of the heaviest pieces of madness yet in the psychopathic monolith of Merdumgiriz releases.”

Xaemora is a melodic black metal band formed in November of 2012, in the St. Louis area by vocalist/guitarist Dreathus and drummer Von Eckhardt, soon joined by guitarist Hartvaig. Xaemora presents itself as an interesting take on black metal, melodic but extreme. With intense live shows filled with blazing guitars, shrieking and harsh vocals, atmospheric keyboards, dynamic bass lines, and intensive drums. Since debuting live in 2013, Xaemora has played all over the St. Louis area and has shared the stage with metal acts such as Morbid Angel, Absu, Goatwhore, Abigail Williams, Havok, Black Anvil, Black Fast, and Tyranny Enthroned to name a few and will be broadening to other regions of the United States in the following future.
