STARKILL Premier “Breaking The Madness” Music Video; Headline Tour Of China Announced

Chicago melodic death metal troupe, Starkill, have unleashed a brand new music video for the single "Breaking The Madness”, taken from their latest album, Virus Of The Mind.

In addition to the new video and in continued pursuit of metal world domination, Starkill has also announced their headlining tour in China taking off November 1st in Shenyang.

Singer/songwriter/guitarist Parker Jameson had the following to say on the new video and recent tour announcement: "“Breaking The Madness” is a video we entirely put together ourselves, doing a self-shot performance video filled with various shots of fan footage and lots of behind the scenes and backstage footage of us living our pre-show or homeless-Walmart-parking-lot-post-show lives. I kept the lyrics a little bit open-ended for individual interpretation, but the inspiration for me was about the not-so-glorious life of being a touring musician. It's hectic and unstable for sure, but as you can see in the video, Starkill is a family, and despite the unpredictability of the modern music world, we do enjoy every minute of it.

“We're also extremely excited to announce that this November, we will be embarking on our first tour of China, which is coincidentally also our first headlining tour. This was an opportunity we couldn't miss, and we are glad to be able to play for many new faces, as well as fans who probably thought it'd be much longer before they'd get to see us live.

“Unfortunately, due to previously locked in work commitments, Shaun won't be making the run, but will be resuming duties on bass with us after November. To fill his spot for the tour, we're glad to welcome our friend and longtime dedicated supporter of the Chicago and Illinois metal scene, Lisa Jablonski. We'll be bringing a really powerful set and are looking forward to shredding China apart."
