STEVEN TYLER - Police Send Alert Saying NO Concert At N.J. Strawberry Farm

West Windsor police have alerted area residents that Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler will NOT be performing this Saturday at a small pick-your-own strawberry farm, reports Keith Brown for NJ.com. Tyler, also an American Idol judge, is listed on concert sites reverbnation.com and eventful.com as performing a 10 AM concert at Windsor Farm & Market on Windsor Road Saturday.

After determining the concert was not happening, and appears to be a mixup, Lt. Robert Garafolo had a little fun with the alert, writing: "We are posting an advisory so thousands of disappointed fans do not make their way into the area. Please pass this along so people don't 'Walk this Way' and end up a 'Cryin'."

"We'd love to have him, I think that'd be cool,'' said Wayne Kalinowski, owner of Windsor Farm & Market. "But we're selling strawberries on Saturday.''

Tyler’s debut country single “Love Is Your Name” entered Billboard’s Country Airplay Charts at #33. The song was aided by hourly plays on participating iHeartMedia stations in its first day of release (May 13th); Tyler also performed the track that night on the season finale of Fox's American Idol.

Tyler debuted "Love Is Your Name” on American Idol's finale, backed up with some killer production design, and a musical assist from 3rd Place contestant Jax, who got to unleash one more round of Janis Joplin's "Piece of My Heart”. See footage below:

"Country, to me, has always been oversimplified, by an accent, a truck, cowboy boots, a dirt road, a back porch," Tyler tells USA Today. "But I think it's more about freedom and pride and hard work and the girl. And knowing everybody's first name in town, you know? There were 1,200 people in my town when I grew up. That, to me, is country."

Tyler's new single may be finished, but his upcoming solo album isn't — and won't be until after Aerosmith finishes a two-month North American tour.

"I've got to find time to come back and record these songs after the Aerosmith tour," Tyler says. "But I flit from flower to flower, country to country, looking for good times and singing about the last time. That's what I'm putting into the country songs."

Tyler recently signed to Dot Records underneath the Big Machine Label Group umbrella (Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw), and released the "Love Is Your Name” single across multiple media properties.

"Love Is Your Name" is the first single off Tyler's highly anticipated debut solo album. The song was produced by Dann Huff and recorded in Nashville at Blackbird studios. Tyler has been residing in Nashville since January where he has been hanging out and collaborating with some of Music Row's finest singers and songwriters.

"I picked up and headed for Tennessee, and the FIRST DAY in the studio, I recorded a song that became my first single, and if 'Love Is Your Name', then Nashville's my new girlfriend. I guess you could call that Beginner's Luck," said Tyler.

"Love Is Your Name" is available at all digital retailers where music is sold.
