STONE SOUR Recording Covers Album

Stone Sour, led by Slipknot vocalist Corey Taylor, has entered an undisclosed studio to record an album of cover songs. Thus far a pair of photos - one depicting guitarist Josh Rand, and the other showing drummer Roy Mayorga - hard at work, have been released.
Currently, the title, release date, and tracklisting of Stone Sour's forthcoming covers album are closely guarded secrets. But if history is any indictaion, during the band's recent North American tour, they performed a different cover song nightly. Among those aired were "Children Of The Grave" by Black Sabbath, "Creeping Death" by Metallica, "Love Gun" by KISS, and "Heading Out To The Highway" by Judas Priest.
