STONE TEMPLE PILOTS End Singer Submissions; Video Report

Stone Temple Pilots have been looking for a new singer. The band parted ways with Chester Bennington at the end of 2015, but will perform a date with him in March (details below). After thousands of entries from singers (and even some strange instrumentals), Stone Temple Pilots have stopped accepting submissions to be the band's new frontman. At this year’s NAMM tradeshow, Stone Temple Pilots bassist Robert DeLeo made an appearance on behalf of Schecter Guitar Research. After his signing, BackstageAxxess.com grabbed Robert for a very personal and candid one on one interview to talk about everything that has been going on the last few months with the band.

Opus 88 and Select Strings Foundation present From Bach To Rock, a star-studded event to benefit Palos Verdes Peninsula public schools on March 26th at the Norris Theater and Pavilion in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.

From Bach To Rock is an intimate concert, bringing platinum selling rock stars together with world-renowned classical musicians, taking you on a journey from 17th century to the modern hits of today, all in the spirit of benefiting Palos Verdes Peninsula public schools (proceeds to be donated to the Peninsula Education Foundation – PEF). The event will offer a one-of-a-kind concert, auction, and an epic red carpet after-concert party fit for any rock star. All musicians involved with the event are contributing their time, energy and musical talents in an effort to benefit public education by helping fund programming supported by PEF including school music, physical education, library and STEM programs, safe school counselors, academic and career counselors, and teacher salaries.

VIP & Vendor sponsorship packages are available and include premium concert seating, meet-and-greets, photo and sound check opportunities, private after party services, merchandise and more.

Performers (subject to change) include: Stone Temple Pilots (one off performance with special guest Chester Bennington from Linkin Park), Gary Wright (multi platinum artist and writer of “Dream Weaver” and “Love Is Alive”), Yutong (Pacific Symphony, LA Phil, Hollywood Bowl Orchestra), Chas West (Bonham, Foreigner), Marten Andersson (Lizzy Borden, George Lynch), Monte Pittman (Madonna, Solo Artist), Stan Sharp (Long Beach Symphony, Hollywood Bowl Orchestra) and Jane Lee (accomplished pianist).
