September 15, 2015, 9 years ago
On the back of such highly rated albums Albion and Isla De Muerta, released a mere six months apart, the UK’s esteemed melodic hard rock band Ten release their first EP for many years, The Dragon And Saint George, along with the latest stunning lyric video produced by Transistor Pictures. Check out the lyric video for the title track below.
Featuring exclusive artwork from Gaetano Di Falco, the EP also boats three previously unreleased tracks. These are no mere leftovers but potential bonafide classics, with "Musketeers – Soldiers of the King" being right up there with the best historical Ten epics, while "Is There Anyone With Sense?" and "The Prodigal Saviour" return to the more melodic AOR of the debut. The booklet also contains extensive written note from vocalist Gary Hughes on every song from Isla De Muerta as well as the unreleased tracks from the EP, making this a totally indispensable package for all fans of classic melodic hard rock.
The EP is out now and available in all good record shops across the UK, as well as online at RocktopiaRecords.com
The EP will also be released as a stunning 12” picture disk featuring the additional bonus track "Good God In Heaven What Hell Is This", originally found on the Japanese release of Albion. This picture disc will be released early December and is strictly limited to 350 copies, although pre-orders are now being taken at Rocktopia Records.
