Las Vegas-based rock ‘n’ roll band, The Bones, are celebrating success of their latest live studio album, Ruin Your Rockshow, Live!. Known for turning traditionally cheesy songs into rock head-bangers, The Bones’ latest 17-track live album cheekily covers classics such as Modern English’s “I Melt With You”, The Bangles’ “Walk Like An Egyptian”, Psychedelic Furs’ “Pretty In Pink”, Prince’s iconic “Purple Rain” and many more.
Comprised of singer/guitarist Patrick Vitagliano (John Connelly’s Nuclear Theory), lead guitarist Jeff Duncan (Armored Saint, Odin), drummer Shawn Duncan (Bulletboys, DC4) and bass player Sean Koos (Joan Jett & The Blackhearts), the tongue-and-cheek project’s high-energy set has quickly became one of the most memorable rock shows in Las Vegas, dubbed as “The Lovechild of Social Distortion and The GoGos”.
“This project is a blast, we are VERY intentionally, the silliest show in rock ‘n’ roll!,” says Vitagliano.
Last month The Bones held a free record release party at Count’s Vamp’d in Las Vegas, for fans to get an up close and personal, exclusive preview of Ruin Your Rockshow, Live! with special guest, all-girl rock band, Brazen.
