THE SHAPE Release Sophomore Album; "Burn Before Reading" Music Video Streaming

Stratford, CT-based progressive melodic death metal act, The Shape, have released their sophomore album, The Masque Of The Red Death, through Monolithic Music, available worldwide on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, and more.

Recorded by Nicholas T. Rage (Toxic Holocaust) at Dexter’s Lab (Hatebreed, Revocation) and mastered by Brad Boatright of Audioseige (Sleep, Corrosion of Conformity, Nails, Obituary), Masque is a textured aural assault of genre-bending song writing that defines The Shape’s distinct approach to metal.

The Shape have had a busy year in 2014, playing with national acts such as The Misfits, Shadows Fall, Jasta, Dead By Wednesday, We The Machine, and Mobile Death Camp. In January they will be playing Hothfest alongside headliners Within The Ruins, Full Blown Chaos, and Dehumanized, before hitting the road for a new national tour for the spring.

They have also produced a music video for their first single off Masque, "Burn Before Reading", which can be viewed below:
