After two successful albums, The Unity (2017) and Rise (2018) and European tours with Edguy, Axel Rudi Pell and Sinner, SPV / Steamhammer and The Unity extend their deal for two more albums.

Olly Hahn, A&R at Steamhammer: "It was pure joy to work with the band for the two albums and for me there was no doubt to continue for two more albums. I'm sure that the success of the band increases with every release so I'm really happy that we could do this!"

Michael Ehré (drums) is equally enthusiastic: "We’re proud and more than happy to extend the deal with SPV / Steamhammer for two more albums. The amazing experience and great passion with which Olly Hahn has helmed the label for many years did really well for the two albums we have released. We’re really looking forward to our ongoing collaboration and will ensure together that The Unity will increase their success within the next years."

The band will play some festivals this year and will embark on their first headliner tour in autumn 2019. The band is already working on their third album which will be released in the first half of 2020. 

Along with their two figureheads and Gamma Ray members Henjo Richter (guitar) and Michael Ehré (drums), The Unity consists of Gianba Manenti (vocals), Stef E (guitar), Jogi Sweers (bass) and Sascha Onnen (keyboards).

The Unity's latest album, Rise, was released through SPV/Steamhammer on September 14th, 2018 as limited Boxset (incl. CD, 2LP, flag, handsigned photocard, 6 track bonus CD, patch, sticker etc....see photo attached), CD DigiPak, 2LP Gatefold, download and stream: https://TheUnity.lnk.to/Rise

The recording features 13 brand-new songs and was cut by drummer Michael Ehré (Gamma Ray) at the B Castle Studio. Rise was produced by the band themselves and, like its predecessor, mixed and mastered by Spanish sound engineer Miquel A. Riutort at the Psychosomatic Recording Studio.

“The new songs reflect the amazing energy and extremely enthusiastic responses at our shows, but also the very positive media reactions,” Michael Ehré sums up the material on Rise.

Soon after its release, Rise will also be presented to The Unity’s rapidly growing fan base as part of an extensive tour. From mid-October, The Unity will accompany Axel Rudi Pell and his band, and the date of the big release show at Ehré’s home town of Nordenham has already been announced (see tour dates below). So the second round of The Unity’s triumphal march is about to kick off.
