THOR Returns To New York For Mammoth Show At The Highline Ballroom On May 14th

Thor, the first rock star to combine superhuman feats of strength with heavy metal into a now-iconic and revered stage show, returns to New York City on Saturday, May 14th, for an epic event at the Highline Ballroom called Thor: A Rock Odyssey.

In what promises to be his biggest show ever, fans will have the opportunity for complete immersion into the Thor universe with memorabilia, film, displays of unbelievable physical power and, of course, rock and roll. This four-hour event will begin when the doors open and the public will be able to view Thor's personal trophy museum for a rare glimpse at many items from his long and storied career including memorabilia from his days as a champion bodybuilder.

Following this will be a screening of the critically acclaimed documentary, I Am Thor, and then Thor will take the stage for the first of three epic sets. First he will celebrate the deluxe re-release of his groundbreaking 1977 debut LP, Keep The Dogs Away, by performing that album in its entirety with members of his original band. Next will be the theatrical "Battle For New York," where Thor will do battle with world record holder Titano Strongman and debut two new songs featuring guest vocalists. Finally, the evening will be capped off with the "Power Set”, featuring classics and fan favorites from Thor's entire catalog.

With new costumes and over 12 musicians and actors from all over the country, props, video project, feats of strength and sword swallowing (courtesy of Titano), this will be the ultimate Thor show of shows.
