TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA Tour Posts Stunning Results; New Album Due This Fall

Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) has reported results of its 2014 Winter Tour: The Christmas Attic which concluded on January 4th. Even for the group, whose tours consistently rank at the charts, the results for the 2014 Winter Tour are impressive. The tour, presented by Hallmark Channel, played 122 shows from November 13th through January 4th and grossed more than $51 million in that period.

Here are the facts:

- The 2014 Winter Tour grossed more than $51 million in just 52 days.
- Total tour attendance was nearly 1,000,000 fans.
- The tour grossed nearly $1 million per day from 11/13/14 to 1/4/15.
- The tour donated more than $1,000,000 to local and national charities.
- TSO has now played to well over 12 million fans.

TSO creator/founder Paul O’Neill says, “2014 has been an amazing year - from our first show in Berlin on January 1st, to the final shows of our winter tour - we want to thank our fans for the incredible support that has allowed TSO to grow beyond our wildest dreams.”

TSO has consistently ranked in the Top 10 for attendance and grosses according to Pollstar, the touring industry trade publication, and was named among the “Top Touring Artists of the Decade” by Billboard (in 2009). Prior to the 2014 Winter Tour, the group played more than 1,600 shows for more than 11 million fans, cementing itself as one of the world’s biggest arena rock acts. This ongoing success is due to TSO O’Neill’s vision, which has melded the sound and fury of rock music with the storytelling of Broadway to create a unique amalgamation he calls “rock theater” that leaves crowds of all ages speechless.

Currently, O’Neill is in his recording studio working on a new album expected to be released in fall of 2015.
