UK’s KING GOAT Announce Debut Album Conduit; Title Track Streaming
January 19, 2016, 8 years ago
Progressive doom-mongers King Goat are ready to reveal the details of their debut full-length record, Conduit (March 25 release).
Following on from two EPs, Conduit contains five of the thickest slabs of doom metal this side of the new year. Moments of hymnal majesty clash and collide against monumentally-bearded riffs; all topped off with vocalist Trim's earth-shattering vocals.
Conduit is a potent beast of an LP, mired in layers of mystique and intrigue: from the otherworldly cover art to the lyrical content, telling of stories of unseen spirits, enslaved worlds, and death and rebirth. The band are well now for their multi-sensory live experiences, combining a smoke-filled atmosphere and incense with chest-bursting music.
A band surely to please any fan of heavier, lower, slower music, King Goat have played a packed out New Blood tent at Bloodstock Open Air, Mammothfest, and Doom Over London; as well as shows with supporting Enslaved, Grand Magus, Witchsorrow, Alunah and many others.
