Canadian bashers Untimely Demise have checked in with the following update:

"Stoked to be heading out on the road again this May and June across Canada in support of our new album, Black Widow. This will be our first tour with the formidable Bryan Newbury (Into Eternity/Death Toll Rising) on drums and will be the perfect means to introduce him, and our bludgeoning new tunes, to live audiences across the country. We begin with two support slots for Canadian metal stalwarts, Zimmers Hole (featuring Gene Hoglan of Testament, Death, Dark Angel, SYL). Then we join up with ex-Megadeth/Shadows Fall members killer new thrash metal band Act Of Defiance for the majority of their Canadian tour which is gonna be beyond sick. From there we are playing Toronto and continuing back into Quebec. This will be our first tour of Eastern Canada in three years so we are more than itching to get back there, shred some stages, hang with old and new friends and crush some beers and poutines!"

Untimely Demise are gearing up for the release of their third album, Black Widow, and have issued an official lyric video for the first track off the record, "Forgotten In Time". It can be viewed below. The clip also offers a first look at the Black Widow cover art created by Ed Repka, known for his work on Megadeth classics Peace Sells... But Who's Buying and Rust In Peace.

In addition, Bryan Newbury of Into Eternity / Death Toll Rising is officially joining Untimely Demise as their full time drummer. Act Of Defiance drummer Shawn Drover performed drums on one song, "Anticolonizer".
