Van Carrying Bands WORMREICH, KHAOTIKA Involved In Deadly Georgia Wreck

The Atlanta Journal Constitution is reporting three people died Monday when a van carrying members of two heavy metal bands, Wormreich and Khaotika, wrecked in northeast Georgia.

The wreck happened about 7 a.m. on I-85 southbound near Maysville Road in Jackson County, about 65 miles northeast of Atlanta.

There were three fatalities on the scene; eight others were taken to Athens Regional Hospital and Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Authorities have not released the names of those killed and injured in the crash.

Wormreich is a US black metal band with one full-length album with 2011’s Edictvm DCLXVI and their last release was the 2014 EP Wormcult Revelations.

Khaotika is a melodic black band from Atlanta that formed in 2014 and released their debut EP Bloodline Empire in 2014.
