“Sinister Recollections”:

Varathron's early albums are considered to be the cornerstones of the Hellenic black metal scene, alongside the releases of Necromantia and Rotting Christ, with whom the group shared members as well as similar fascination towards early style. Since their inception back in 1988, the band's trademark are mid-paced riffs that have a classic, old-school feel strengthened by a progressive view, as well as epic atmospheres that only few can match.

Band's last full-length album, Untrodden Corridors Of Hades, had its premiere in November 2014, after a five year break. More news on The Confessional Of The Black Penitents will follow shortly.
