In the aftermath of their latest album, Nocturnes Of Hellfire And Damnation, and Virgin Steele’s headlining show at the Up The Hammers Festival, RockPages.gr met up with David DeFeis at the hotel where he was staying in Athens, Greece for an interesting interview. DeFeis talks about, among other things, Virgin Steele’s last album and comments on the negative feedback from the press regarding the production. Watch below:

SPV/Steamhammer will re-release Virgin Steele's The House Of Atreus Act I & Act II on May 20th. This massive 3CD digipak re-release comes with bonus material and a huge booklet with new liner notes and unseen photos by David DeFeis.

David DeFeis comments on the re-release: "We are Honoured & Proud to announce that on May 20th Steamhammer SPV will re-release our barbaric-romantic epic metal-opera, The House Of Atreus!
