VOIVOD Drummer MICHEL "AWAY" LANGEVIN Featured On New Episode Of Official DANKO JONES Podcast

Toronto rocker Danko Jones caught up with Michel “Away” Langevin, drummer for the legendary Voivod, arguably Canada’s greatest band ever, when they both played in Eindhoven, Holland, for SpeedFest. Talk ranged from Hellfest, future plans, Voivod’s formation, Blacky’s hairstyle, Michel’s artwork, Tau Cross and Danko’s Voivodian name.

Danko Jones have have released an EPK (Electronic Press Kit) video for their upcoming Live At Wacken release, out January 29th on CD/DVD, Blu-Ray, double vinyl and digital. The DVD and Blu-Ray editions will include a track-by-track commentary, an exclusive backstage interview and the spoken word performance from the 2012 Wacken Festival as bonus material.

Danko Jones play a headline show for the 25th Anniversary celebration of the Backstage venue in Munich, Germany tonight, January 15th. Mustasch and Godwave are on the bill as support. Tickets are available via the official Backstage website here.

The Backstage is one of the most popular metal / rock venues in southern Germany, playing hosts to hundreds of shows each year.
