PlayThisRiff.com, which is owned and operated by Bob Balch from Fu Manchu, sat down with Daniel "Chewy" Mongrain from Voivod to pick his brain about riffs for around 60 minutes.

In this new lesson, Daniel "Chewy" Mongrain shows us the second and third riffs in the Voivod song "Killing Technology." Chewy also explains how origninal Voivod guitar player Denis “Piggy” D’Amour’s guitar riffs were unusual in the sense that nobody really used triads on the high 3 strings in metal.
