Wacken 3D – Louder Than Hell Coming To Canadian Cinemas

Award-winning director Norbert Heitker hands you an all access pass to the largest metal hang in the world – Wacken, the most iconic festival film since Woodstock, held each summer in Wacken, Germany.

One night only across Canada, fans can witness the metal experience on October 29th. Following the Cineplex Yonge-Dundas screening, Steve “Lips” Kudlow and Robb Reiner of Anvil will be in attendance for a Q&A.

Imagine what it’s like to be up on stage with Deep Purple, see the curtain rise and feel the vibe of the first few bars of "Smoke On The Water". Then imagine floating above an endless sea of people while the thunderous music of this concert takes off.

Filmed with 18 stereoscopic 3D cameras, Wacken 3D – Louder Than Hell lets viewers crowd-surf and mud-dive, in a no-holds barred exploration of the biggest open air heavy metal festival in the world.

Wacken 3D puts fans center stage with Anthrax, Motörhead, Rammstein, Annihilator, Alice Cooper, Henry Rollins, Anvil, Lamb Of God, just to name a few.

Every year, for three days in August, a sleepy farming village in the middle of a Northern German countryside becomes the epicenter of the metal universe. Close to 75,000 metal heads from around the globe invade the Wacken Open Air to pay homage to the greatest bands of the international metal scene. The first Wacken Open Air in 1990 attracted less than 800 attendees but since then it has grown every year. Now it is the biggest open air festival of its kind.

Tickets are available at Cineplex.
