WESTFIELD MASSACRE's TOMMY VEXT - “I’d Laid My Suit Out For My Mom To Bury Me In”

In the video below, Tommy Vext of Westfield Massacre opens up to The You Rock Foundation about the pain of testifying against his twin brother, support, sobriety, and the pivotal phone call from someone in need that prevented him from making a premeditated suicide attempt.

The You Rock Foundation is an online platform for instilling hope and love by publishing videos of popular bands testifying about their personal demons, how they fought them, and how they won. It  empowers those who feel powerless, spreads awareness about their existence, and educates their family and friends on how they can help by working with preexisting organizations like Crisis Text Line, Mental Health America, and School of Rock.

Be a part of the solution. Let’s stop this pandemic in it’s tracks. Don’t ignore the chance to get help for yourself or someone else you know who may be in crisis. To speak to someone who will understand and help you find the hope your deserve, call The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255), or text 741741 to Crisis Text Line. These services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Alternately, visit suicidepreventionlifeline.org and/or crisistextline.org.
