Puerto Rico-based death thrashers, Zafakon, are in the process of recording their new video for the song “Sirens” off their latest album, Release. This will be the second single from the album, and it is being recorded by Jean C. Arroyo, who has previously worked on the band’s photography sessions.
“The video will be very intense, and it will go hand to hand with the lyrics of the song. Working with Jean is as smooth as it can be, he is very creative, and he has a constant flow of ideas. We are very happy with the way that the video is turning out to be,” said bassist Weslie Negrón. “We hope to have released by sometime in mid-October.”

Zafakon will also release a limited 100 copies on tape of their first album, War As A Drug, through Discos Diaspora. “Alfredo (label manager), made the contact, and we agreed to do so. I think this will be very attractive to all vintage collectors.”
The War As A Drug tapes will be available for the Cassette Store Day on October 8th. You can find more information here.
