August 23, 2017, 7 years ago
Zen From Mars is aiming to release their debut album, The Ultra Head Frequency, in late fall. It's currently being mixed by Richard Easterling (American Head Charge, Muse), who's provided a brief preview via the following snippet of the song "Inner Mission".
"We are all incredibly excited about finally getting the record mixed by the incredible Richard Easterling," says Zen From Mars guitarist Drew Fortier. "Much like the Bang Tango movie I had made, this record has been one huge work of passion, especially with collaborating with such incredibly talented people. We are all extremely excited to reach the finish line with this album and are stoked for the public's reaction to what we have all accomplished together with this. We all believe in this band and feel that anyone who listens, will believe in it as well."
Zen From Mars is an all new six-piece hard rock band. Its lineup consists of:
Stephen Shareaux (Kik Tracee) - vocals
Mike Heller (Fear Factory / Malignancy) - drums
Chip Z’Nuff (Enuff Z’Nuff) - bass, backing vocals
Brynn Arens (Flipp) - guitar
Drew Fortier (Bang Tango) - guitar
Kate Catalina (The Showgirl Of Rock) - keyboards
Bassist Chip Z'Nuff states: "Great song, rockstar singer, two solid guitarists, brilliant drummer, world renowned bassist, foxy keyboardist = Supergroup!"
Vocalist Stephen Shareaux shares: “ZFM is purely a passion project, I just really love this music! We had a deep connection musically from the word go, Drew and I! Plus he was just so damn persistent! (laughs)”
Kate Catalina, the band's keyboardist stated: “It has been a really thrilling process watching this band come to life and hearing musical concepts turned into beautiful, heavy, transcending songs. The contrast alone is mesmerizing: each member operates from a different genre, but we all met in the same land of songwriting and performance.”
