CANNIBAL CORPSE - Live Cannibalism

Live albums either bridge the gap between studio slabs or proclaim the demise of a particular musical entity. Fortunately, the former is the truth with Tampa's beloved death metal gorgers, Cannibal Corpse. The extremity, the explicit nature, the ritualistic intent, the technical wizardry. Yup, it's all here in blood-drenched glory, spilled forth from dates in Milwaukee and Indianapolis on the Bloodthirst tour. Cannibal Corpse on record are just plain nasty. Becoming versatile musicians that are quite serious about their trade just adds to the spectacle of disaster. Cannibal Corpse live is just one insane tantrum where limbs are tossed forth, bodies are hacked off at the torso and inner secretions lie in pools on the floor. And everything is covered here, the Chris Barnes-era a seamless task, whether it be 'Stripped Raped And Strangled' or the encore of 'Hammer Smashed Face'. The more precise George 'Corspegrinder' Fisher material is maniacal, 'Dead Human Collection', 'I Will Kill You' and the epic hellraiser, 'Gallery Of Suicide' skin you alive. Cannibal Corpse are a potent example of the longevity of death metal.
